Mobile formats are optimized for use with Apple's iPhone and iPod with a frame size of 320 x 240.

You can play the video on your iPhone by tapping the appropriate clip. The movie will open in your mobile device's built-it media player and begin to play after a short buffering period. If the video does not start automatically, you can tap the Play button in the media player to begin.

Mobile video clips work best on 3G, WiFi, or equivalent high-speed networks. You can play the videos on an EDGE network, but you may experience frequent buffering delays which cause the video to start and stop. In that case, you may want to download the video on our desktop and with your iPhone.

If you're having difficulties viewing videos, here some things to check:

1) Be sure your mobile provider allows streaming videos and that it is enabled on your data plan.

2) Try the YouTube Mobile site to verify that streaming video works on your device.

3) If you receive an error about insufficient memory or a file too large, try clearing out other media stored on your device.
